Grades 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 from the Waldorf School of Garden City enjoyed an afternoon skating outing at Iceland Skating Rink in New Hyde Park on Thursday, February 5th. First-time skaters and advanced skaters enjoyed their time together on the ice, under the watchful eye of their teachers and a few parent chaperones. The annual field trip to the Iceland Skating Rink is one of the many activities organized for students by Ms. Bonnie Bolz, Waldorf’s Physical Education, Movement and Dance Teacher.
