Waldorf Watch: Eugene Hong Accepted to New York Youth Symphony

9th Grader Eugene Hong has been selected to join the New York Youth Symphony Chamber Music Program, where he will be a pianist. Eugene participated in the competitive auditions during the week of September 10th and was recently informed that he was accepted into the program!

One of the most well-respected ensemble music training programs in the country, students participate in master classes with world-renowned musicians from across the globe such as members of the Juilliard, Orion, Tokyo, and Shanghai quartets. Each season culminates in performances at the National Arts Center, Scandinavia House, and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. Congratulations to Eugene for this incredible achievement!
