Waldorf Watch: Jadyn Mardy Writes on Environment and Sustainability

Congratulations to Junior, Jadyn Mardy who had her essay published in Amaranthus Journal of Environment Leadership this month! Jadyn’s concern for the environment led her to submit this article with the goal of helping “people understand how our actions have dire consequences and how they can make a difference.”  Read the full article here (page 12-13).

Amaranthus is an online Sustainable learning magazine published annually by Sustainable Summer, a Brooklyn, NY-based not-for-profit that specializes in youth environmental leadership programming. The publication’s purpose is to cultivate an intellectual and emotional connection within our community of program alums and their parents, educators from a variety of disciplines, and the general public that shares an interest in educating for sustainability, youth leadership development, and environmentally-conscious living.

Nice work Jadyn!
