Waldorf Sophomore, Mike Meng was named an Outstanding Student in High School Chemistry by the Long Island Subsection of the American Chemical Society (ACS). Only one student per school can be chosen for this award which goes to the student with the highest grade point average in Chemistry. Students from the Waldorf School have been acknowledged by the LIACS for the past 4 years.

Mike was presented with his award at a special ceremony on Tuesday, May 9th at Nassau Community College.
