Senior, Dylan Brousseau-Vora received the Nassau County District Attorney’s Recognition Award for excellence in youth advocacy. The award was presented to Dylan by Assistant District Attorneys Arianne Reyer and Kara Kaplan on Friday, May 6th at the Waldorf School of Garden City’s weekly high school assembly. “This was a surprise and an honor,” said Dylan after receiving the award. During his senior speech (a senior year rite of passage), Dylan passionately discussed how his experiences volunteering at the youth court have broadened his perpectives. Ms. Reyer and Ms. Kaplan praised Dylan as one of the most passionate, fair and dedicated advocates they have had.
