After School Activities

The Afternoon Care Programs at The Waldorf School of Garden City are designed for students of all ages. For the youngest, the Early Childhood Afternoon Care Program creates a warm, home-like atmosphere. Grades 1-8 spend time outdoors, engage in a guided activity, and have a quiet space for homework, projects, reading, and board games. High School students are provided a quiet room to complete homework. In addition, parents may arrange for their children to receive individual tutoring services. Please contact your teacher for more information.

NOTE: Additional fees may be charged for students who are not picked up by the program’s end time.

No payment is required with this form. You may elect to pay in full prior to the start of the program or pay monthly through Blackbaud Tuition Management and you will be billed.   • Early daily drop-off for Nursery students. Full-year enrollment required.
    COST: $1,100 for the year.

  • For Nursery and Mixed-Age Kindergarten Students. Full-year enrollment required. 3 days per week minimum.
    COST: 5-days = $4,600, 4-days = $3,700, 3-days = $2,750.

    COST: $20 per hour for 1 child. $10 per hour for additional siblings.

  • For students in grades 1 - 8.
    COST: $20 per hour for 1 child. $10 per hour for additional siblings. Please Note: At no time may students in grades 1 - 8 leave and return to campus during the Afternoon Program.
