Fencing Club – fall session

Wednesdays 3:20 – 5:00 | Gymnasium
Max # of students: 15
Grades 5 to 8. This club will introduce students to the sport through fun and engaging games and exercises. Students will learn basic technical skills and train towards applying them tactically within a match. For girls and boys alike, fencing develops focus, confidence, critical thinking, balance, and coordination, as well as the creativity to put them all together in either a recreation or competitive situation.
Mihail Etropolski is one of the country’s top fencers, having made numerous national finals and representing USA at the 2010 Pan American Games. He’s been coaching for 8 years and has worked with students from the beginner to the elite competitive levels.
Start Date: Wednesday, September 13th
End Date: Wednesday, November 29th (unless make-up classes are scheduled)
