The Waldorf School PTA in conjunction with the high school Outreach and Activism Club are hosting a food drive with proceeds going to the Mary Brennen INN Soup Kitchen in Hempstead to assist those experiencing food insecurity. 

There will be two collection bins, one stationed inside the Main Entrance and one inside the breezeway. Please send in non-perishable canned or dry food items with your students to leave in the bins by November 30th. At the end of the day items from the bins will be collected and distributed to the INN. 

Requested items in the order of need include:

·     Canned meats

·     Canned Tuna and Salmon

·     Peanut Butter

·     Jelly (no glass jars please)

·     Canned soup (in flip-top cans)

·     Dry Soup

·     Canned Stews and Chili

·     Coffee (ground only)

·     Canned Pasta

·     Canned Vegetables

·     Canned Fruit

·     Hot and Cold Cereals (oatmeal packets)

·     Rice

·     Pancake Mix
