Waldorf played extremely well through 4 innings, only trailing by a score of 2-0.  The roof caved in during the 5th inning, when a very good Avenues team scored 9 runs.  Final score of 11-0 in Avenues favor was not truly indicative of how well-played the contest was, into the 5th inning.  Schechter transfer Noah Balsam pitched very well for the first 3 innings, allowing only 2 runs, while striking out 4.  At bat Balsam walked, doubled, and tripled.  Luke Cleary and Henry Bertoni also contributed doubles in the effort.
