The Waldorf School of Garden City Summer Camp Terms of Enrollment Agreement
Summer at the Waldorf School (the “Camp”) admits children of any race, color and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities. Tuition includes the use of all facilities, tee-shirt, snacks, and the cost of some of the day trips where applicable.
Deposit, payment, and refunds: The Camp requires a $500 deposit, which is refundable until March 31, 2023, minus a $50 processing fee. After that date the full amount of the deposit is non-refundable. A non-refundable payment in full of the tuition balance is due by May 1, 2023.There are no refunds for absences or withdrawals after camp has started. In the case of an extended illness that has resulted in five or more consecutive absences, a camper may be withdrawn for medical reasons documented by the camper's physician; in such cases, there will be a refund issued on tuition in excess of the non-refundable $500 deposit, prorated based on attendance. For part-time campers, every effort will be made to accommodate absences through schedule or changes. For the general welfare of all campers, the Camp reserves the unrestricted right to (a) dismiss any camper whose conduct or influence, in the opinion of the Camp Director, is detrimental to the best interests of the camp, and (b) dismiss or restrict, either temporarily or permanently, any camper for health and safety reasons. Admission is limited due to the needs of the program. The Camp’s tennis and swimming programs take place at Adelphi University. In case of rain, campers may be transported to the pool via the Waldorf School Bus.
Lost items: The Camp is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

If such an event occurs, the Camp’s duties and obligations under this Agreement will be postponed until such time as the Camp, in its sole discretion, may safely reopen.
