Rising 7th Grader Chloe Akaba-Koubel, used her summer to continue to work on her soccer skills, both at home and abroad. In addition to her standard practice regimen, Chloe toured with her travel team, the New York Club Soccer League (NYCSL) Select Squad 05 to the international Gothia Cup in Denmark!

The tournament featured over 40 teams from 8 different countries around the world. Chloe’s team performed well, making it to the semi-final round and landing in 3rd place overall in the Girls-13 level after losing to Germany on penalties in a close game.

Chloe has been training with the NYCSL Player Development Program (PDP) for the last 3 years as a midfielder, and has grown as a player through her hard work and dedication to the sport.
