Wholesome Fun at Fall Fair & Alumni Day – Saturday, Oct. 20th

The Waldorf School of Garden City will host its annual Fall Fair and Alumni Day on Saturday, October 20th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The event, which is free and open to the public, promises to be a wholesome and fun-filled day for children and families.

Organized by the school’s Parent Association, the Fall Fair boasts a host of unique arts and crafts, exciting games, a magical puppet show as well as healthy food and tasty treats. “The event is an excellent opportunity to start one’s holiday shopping at our marketplace,” said Sue Cheney, Co-Chair of the school’s Parent Association. “The marketplace includes quality vendors selling unusual, fine craft items.”

Attendees are also invited to check out the Camp Glen Brook stand. Owned and operated by the Waldorf School of Garden City and situated in southwestern New Hampshire near Mt. Monadnock, Camp Glen Brook consists of 240 acres of farmland and forests, a working farm with animals, large organic gardens, a lake free of motorboats, and miles of trails from which to explore the surrounding mountains and woodlands. There, students learn through direct contact with the natural world. Camp Glen Brook will be at the Fall Fair showcasing their year-long activities for students and selling their fresh produce and delicious maple syrup.

Alumni and their families are encouraged to check out the following:
