Varsity Boys Baseball Game – AWAY

In what was probably the finest game that this coach has been part of, since arriving here in 2012, Waldorf lost to LWA by score of 4-3, in a game that ended in the bottom of the 9th inning, with LWA scoring 2 runs. Isaac Stumme was Waldorf’s best player, pitching into the 8th inning, striking out an impressive 17 hitters and walking only 3. He also had 2 hits and scored 2 runs. Peter Le Porin caught the entire game, and greatly aided Stumme, guiding him through the difficult LWA lineup. Eric Mundy had a hit, and also made a fine running catch in center field.
